North Park Main Street wears two hats: a business improvement district established by the City of San Diego, and a Main Street program affiliated with the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Seeks to promote development that supports arts, culture, and entertainment, while preserving the historical integrity of North Park. To create a pedestrian-friendly destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment that supports our local businesses.

Location

North Park is a neighborhood in San Diego, California, United States, as well as a larger “community” as defined by the City of San Diego for planning purposes.

The neighborhood is bounded: on the north by Lincoln Avenue and University Heights, on the west by Florida Canyon and both University Heights and Hillcrest, on the southwest by Balboa Park, on the south by Switzer Canyon and the South Park neighborhood, and on the east by Interstate 805 and City Heights.
